Who We Are

Since 1989, Washington Tax Services has represented thousands of taxpayers with IRS and State tax issues.

Here are our key employees and tax professionals:

Matthew Woare, Enrolled Agent - Matthew is our General Manager. He represents clients before IRS and most state tax agencies. He is a veteran of Watax since 1997. Graduate of University of Washington.

Jay Freeborne, Enrolled Agent - Jay provides customer service and represents select clients before the IRS and/or State. Jay has worked for WATAX since 1997. Jay is a graduate of Denison University, 1989.

Marty M. Griffith, Senior Tax Consultant Marty works with individual and small business clients to resolve IRS and state tax debts. He oversees his cases and the work of our staff from the initial interview process until the final resolution of a case. Marty has been with Washington Tax Services since 2007. Pamela Raines, Enrolled Agent - Pam is Manager of our Tax Preparation Department. She specializes in tax return preparation for individuals and businesses with past or ongoing tax compliance issues. Pam has worked for Watax since 1998. She is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University.

Jason Jones, Tax Resolution Manager – Jason specializes in tax case analysis and preparation of IRS and state financial statements. He has been with Watax since 2005 and works directly with our clients and staff to assist in resolving past tax debt issues. Jason is a Graduate of Washington State University.
